Yep it is official, we’ve gone all responsive! With the recent rise in responsive web design it was only time before we redeveloped our site.

You should now be able to view this site on your iPhone, iPad, Laptop, Desktop etc etc and get a seamless experience!

Wave Garden – Man-made surfing wave

This takes man-made waves to another level. Some clever dudes have come up with the technology to create a surfable man-made wave. Standing waves and flow riders have been around for a while now, but this looks much more fun. Check out the video below and head over to the Wave Garden website for more info.

Wavetracks GPS pilot scheme

For a limited period, the guys over at Wavetracks GPS are giving away a free copy of their iPhone app. You can track your surfing in return for providing them with some helpful feedback. All you need to do is download the Wavetracks GPS test pilot form (MS Word) and email it back to them.

Wavetracks GPS launches on the iPhone App Store

Wavetracks GPS, a new iPhone App for tracking surfing performance has just been launched on the iPhone App Store, it looks really slick and there is potential for the App to be used in contests and coaching as well as  individual surfers looking to track their surf performance.

Wavetracks GPS iPhone App for tracking surfing performance

I’ve been working on an project over the past few months creating an iPhone App that tracks your performance whilst surfing. It uses the iPhone’s GPS technologies to track and calculate your speed, distance, angle of ride etc. The app is currently under review from Apple and should hopefully be in the App Store in the next few weeks.
