Hiking in Snowdonia, Wales

February 18th, 2012

This weekend Beej and I drove over to North Wales for some winter hiking action in the Snowdonia National Park.

When we woke this morning it was lashing down with rain and looking really uninspiring and unlikely that we’d even leave the hotel. But after a few hours letting breakfast go down, a break in the weather meant we decided to depart on 15km trek up the foothills of Mount Snowdon. We didn’t get to the top, as the weather came in and came back down (in the snow, hail and wind). But we managed to snap a few nice shots along the way.
