I’ve been on a bit of a retro trip lately. I blame it on my dad who used to play a load of prog. rock when I was young (Jethro Tull, Creme, Blind Faith, Led Zep, Wishbone Ash etc.). Anyway maybe I am getting all nostalgic, or I just dig that old sound! Latest find is a band called White Denim. Check ‘em out, pretty sick sounds if you ask me!
All cleaned up and ready to rejoin this summer’s quiver: 6’8 Surftech Tuflite! Just in time for Devon in a few weeks. Lets hope there’s some swell, otherwise it is back onto the longbaord, or even SUP!

Off to the West Country this weekend for some surf and hopefully sunshine. Debut trip with Rosie, so need to behave myself and not leave her on the beach for four hours whilst I f*ck off into the water. Putting in the ground work already and booked up tip top three night stay with Uncle Colin followed by two days camping somewhere in Cornwall.
Been shopping and bought a load of new bits to jazz up the tent and give Rose a comfy home away from home. Also prepped up the boards and narrowed it down to three which should hopefully cover all conditions.
Big day for new music, lucky number three: Alberta Cross, dig!
Also digging a bit of Radio Moscow at the moment too. Reminds me of when I was a kid (and the old man played his ’70′s prog. rock).
Stumbled across these guys on Last.fm and liked the sound of them.
It all started oh so well, with me linking a few turns on the pipe, nice and fluid. Only to be followed by me donning the GoPro and then having a spectacular wipeout with an accompanying leg/knee twist which rendered me on the sideline for the rest of the session.
I’m now sitting here with an icepack on my leg whilst I flick through the video footage of Mr. Copping stylin’ some special moves on the street section. Check it out below!
