Powder, Park & Pals video (Morzine Feb 2012)
February 9th, 2012Here’s the edited version of some of the footage shot on a recent ski trip to Morzine in the French Alps.
It’s always a bit of a catch 22 when shooting film on a surf/ski trip as you want to get good footage, but you don’t want to sacrifice the riding and be stuck behind the camera all day. This video was shot exclusively on the GoPro and I opted to leave the Canon in the chalet and maximise the time on the mountain. I’m pretty pleased with the edit, but I personally think it lacks some more interesting angles/shots/effects that you can only achieve with a proper variable focus lens.
