Yesterday me, Chad, Matt and Carl hit up the beach and enjoyed some nice sunshine. The surf wasn’t too great so we ended up getting on the beer and playing cards. 16 Skols later we decided to go to get some grub and went to the local favela in Recreio and had our $R7 meal with a few more Skols on the side. Fatima the owner was so stoked that I had came back that she gave us a little tour of the favela showing us the bars we should check out.
The 4 of us then went to this bar and got stuck into some industrial strength caparinhas and hung out and had a laugh. On the way home we were a little worse for wear and started barking at some of the local dogs, as you do. All in all another good evening.
